Sous Vide Steak

I would refer to THIS ARTICLE for details on choosing the right steak, temperature and times for Sous Vide! It was really helpful to me. This is what I found to work the best for us with meal prep, considering we would be reheating it to eat. And it is what my kiddos enjoyed!

Ingredients:

  • We really like using Ribeye or Tri Tip with this cooking method

  • Garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  • Using Sous Vide, preheat your water to 135 degrees.

  • While pre-heating, start preparing your steaks. Spread minced garlic, salt and pepper on both sides.

  • I put each one in it’s own gallon-sized zip lock bag.

  • Once the water is preheated, use the Water Displacement Method to remove all air in the bags.

  • Cook for 2 hours.

  • Then place on the grill for about 45sec-1 min on each side.

  • Serve with your choice of sides. We like a veggie and rice!
