Shredded Beef Sliders

This tired Mama fell asleep and ran out of time to cook a veggie, but any veggie would taste great with these! Cole slaw would also go great on the sliders. Thank goodness dinner was already in the slow cooker! :)

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole (4 To 5 Lb. Size) Beef Roast (or double for meal prep!)

  • 2 tsp Sea Salt

  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Fresh Garlic, chopped

  • 1 tsp Onion Powder

  • 8 oz. Sliced Brown Or White Mushrooms, optional

  • 1/2 cup Beef Broth

  • For Serving: Yellow onion, sliced

  • Cole Slaw, optional

  • BBQ sauce of choice for the sliders (we used sugar-free for with kiddos)

  • Buns for the sliders

Instructions:

  1. Sprinkle the beef roast with salt and pepper, then place it in the slow cooker.

  2. Whisk Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and onion powder in a small bowl. Pour over the beef.

  3. Add mushrooms on top, then pour broth down the pot's side to avoid rinsing off all the seasonings you just put on.

  4. Cover and cook on low for 8–10 hours.

  5. Toward the end, caramelize the sliced onions in a skillet with Olive Oil.

  6. When the beef is done, shred with forks and mix it with your BBQ sauce.

  7. Serve on buns with the carmelized onions and cole slaw, optional. (I fell asleep and ran out of time, but I want to try that next time!) Add a veggie on the side!
