Air Fryer Pizza Crescent Rolls
Ingredients:
2 Packages Crescent Rolls (Reduced Fat works great here!)
About 1 Cup Pizza Sauce
Pepperoni (I went through a whole package for 2 packages of crescent rolls. You can add as many as you want!)
About 2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese for inside the rolls and extra for the top.
Olive Oil Spray
Note: you can get creative with these and add different types of meat and veggies! I’d like to try sausage and bell peppers. I would cook them first to get them soft before rolling up.
Instructions:
Carefully open the crescent rolls and unroll them so they are flat. Then peel apart the triangles.
Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on the whole roll and a handful of pepperonis on the larger “triangle” side. Top them with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Roll each crescent from the larger side to the smaller size. I found it best to roll about halfway, then take the smaller “triangle” over the top and press down slightly to connect. You can also fold up the ends after rolling.
Coat the air fryer basket with the olive oil spray, then place the crescent rolls evenly into the basket. Do a light spray on top of the crescent rolls. This is when I like to sprinkle some cheese on top.
Cook in the Air Fryer at 360*F for 8 minutes. NOTE: all Air Fryers are slightly different in how quickly they cook. Peak in at them to make sure you don’t overcook. You want them to look slightly brown.
Remove and serve. These paired great with eggs for more protein! For a party appetizer, these would be yummy dipped into a cheese dip.
